Hey there and welcome to my blog!

I’m Kat and I’m so excited for you to be here! I started this blog as a safe space dedicated to providing education to expecting parents throughout their journey of pregnancy, labor and delivery, and parenthood. Everything I talk about in this blog is based on personal experience through my journey of pregnancy and motherhood and my experience as a pediatric registered nurse.

My husband, Peter, and I have always dreamt of starting a family of our own. We have talked about it since the first day we met! We have 3 fur babies: a dog named Baxter and two cats, Echo and Louie. In 2020 we suffered through the miscarriage of our baby girl and in 2022 we welcomed our rainbow baby boy, Jetson “Jet” James, to our family.

Motherhood is a long and tough road, but one of the most rewarding to travel. During my journey I constantly found, and continue to find, myself searching the internet for advice on numerous different baby-related topics. Regardless if you’re a first-time mom who has never even changed a diaper before or an experienced mama, this blog is going to give you the motivation and inspiration to be the best you can be for your babies! I’m going to walk beside you and guide you step-by-step through this whole chapter of your life!

When I’m not writing on my blog, I am working full-time as a registered nurse in the NICU, PICU, and CVICU at the hospital. I mainly spend my free time hanging out with my little family and creating memorable experiences. I enjoy all things self-care such as meditating, reading, manifesting, yoga, skincare, haircare, and more!

Again, I’m so happy to see you stop by mothersabundantlove. I encourage you to browse around for more inspiration and ideas. Here are some of my reader’s favorite posts to help you get started:
